Benefits of crochet
- It’s relaxing. Crocheting helps to relieve stress and has a positive effect on mental health, and what’s more, you get something to show off for your time.
- It’s great for your self-esteem and creative expression. Someone compliments you on your matching mittens and hat and you get to reply: “I made that!”
- It’s sustainable. You choose the materials that go into your creations, giving you the opportunity to craft high quality, even heirloom, pieces that will last for many years.
- It’s sociable. Loads of us are doing it and there are many opportunities to meet people from all walks of life united by a common thread, or yarn… Join us!
